It took me a minute to see what I was looking at: the nipple suddenly made it clear, gave it context and size. What a picture!!
Never seen anything like it..horrendous!
The sad part is that this patient appears to be intubated. SHAME on the family and the doctor who did this to that poor man if that's the case.

You really need to post again to get this off the top of your page. Anything to push it down a bit so I don't see that when I open your blog.
I noticed you used the word "lovely" in your comments. This unfortunately is what happens after we work for some time. Lovely photos but poor patient.
May be this should be put beside cigarette advertising or on cigarette packets and then see what smokers think.

Wow, pretty disturbing, but yes I agree with one of your other comments - put it on all the cigerette advertisings and see what happens then. [The problem being is that the governements earn a lot of money on duty tax from cigerettes so it is in their interest not to promote too heavily, and worse case scenrio they will just put the prices up when users decline to support the income made!]

Wow Thats some serious cancer that guy has I have never seen it so bad.I wonder just how long he survived with lung cancer, it had to be a long time with the looks of those tumors.

Yes if that doesnt make one quit, nothing will (besides death!)...I am finsihin my Im residency this mth and its amazing how one almost grows immune to cancer and death...as an intern i was so affected and now its just another thg...one more patient...one more disease...sad but true...
