Intelligent design goes down

"The overwhelming evidence at trial established that intelligent design is a religious view, a mere re-labelling of creationism, and not a scientific theory."
according to Judge John Jones in a decision that can be only described as a complete and total victory for those of us who want science taught in schools to reflect, you know, actual science.

By the same reasoning evolution would have to be banned, since it also is certainly held religiously without proof. The Holy Spirit's messages on The Christian Prophet blog indicate both theories are incorrect. The Holy Spirit seems to be concerned about mindless worship of science religiously. The good news is The Holy Inheritance blog tells us we were all created by love.

Actually, on scientific grounds, evolution has overwhelming evidence backing it up.

My trouble is this: in science, if one wants to make a contribution, one does the research and submits it for peer review. If it passes, then it is published and eventually accepted as being valid science.

ID/Creationist types want to bypass the peer review process.

A science classroom is NOT open to any old idea; after all, what if *I* want the creation theory of the Flying Spaghetti Monester taught because it backs up *my* religious beliefs? (look up "Flying Spaghetti Monster" in google..)
